6/57 Barn approximately 40 metres east

Barn. Probably C18. Plastered cob on stone rubble footings; thatch roof.
Plan and exterior description: threshing barn on a north-south axis with large
opposing doorways to the threshing floor, each flanked by short projecting midstrey

This barn is an unusual example of a traditional Devon farm building which still has
a thatched roof. It also forms part of a group with nearby Preston Farmhouse (q.v).
