The Smithy (formerly
13.2.67 listed as Smithy Farmhouse)

Smithy, now private house. Late C18. Colourwashed brick, hipped
and gabled Welsh slate roof. Two brick ridge stacks and a gable
stack. Two storeys. L-plan. North elevation of four bays.
Ground floor has four pointed-arched windows with wooden Y-tracery,
set in larger round-arched recesses with plain impost band. Four
pointed-arched windows above with wooden Y-tracery. Similar
two bay east elevation, the left hand bay with a Venetian type
doorway of pointed-arched door with Gothic fanlight, flanked
by rectangular side windows.
