Pair of cottages. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with
gritstone dressings and quoins to west of No 5. Stone slate roofs with stone coped
gable with moulded kneelers to west of No 5 and brick ridge and western gable end
stacks. Both cottages two storeys and single bay. No 3 to east has flush doorcase
with C20 glazed door and to west a large 2-light flush mullion window with C20
casements. Similar window above and to east an inserted C20 flush window. No 5
has similar doorcase and door to east with C20 window in flush, formerly mullioned,
surround to west. Above, similar window. Included for group value only,
