House. Probably cl6-early cl7, now much altered, Roughcast walls, C20 cement-tile
roof. 2 storeys with attics, 4 windows to 1st floor, wing to rear left, additions
to rear right. Central part-glazed door in chamfered surround, slated canopy on
arch-braced posts covers bay-window projection on left. Another part-glazed door
to right has chamfered, pointed arch; two 3-light casements on right have chamfered
surrounds beneath render and leaded lights. 2-light casements to 1st floor with
3-light window above right-hand door. Steeply-pitched roof with central ridge stack
and end stack to right. Rear: main range has remains of moulded, square window to
upper floor. Remains of 3-light double-chamfered window in rear-right addition.

Interior: chamfered, arched doorway into rear-right addition. Good beamed ceiling
in ground-floor room to left with chamfered transverse beam and bressumer; massive
central stack of which no original features are exposed. Timber wall post in
roadside wall possibly original. Unusual curving flight of stone steps leads from
1st floor to attic which has lime-ash floor and principal-rafter trusses.
