Cross head. Probably pre-Conquest. Granite monolith. The circular head and only a
short section of the shaft survive fixed into the ground without a base. The head
has a Greek or Maltese cross in relief on the front and possibly a similar but
recessed cross on the back. The origin of the cross in not known.
