House and shop. Early C19, with alterations of C19 and few later alterations.
Rendered stone rubble. Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end
stacks.
Plan: Double depth plan, with originally a central entrance and room to front right
and left. In circa mid - late C19, the front of the house was remodelled, with
entrance and one small room to left and a large shop to right. Shallow rear service
rooms.
Exterior: 2 storeys and 3 windows ; first floor has C18 12-pane sashes in exposed
boxes. Ground floor has continuous fascia and cornice, with 6-panelled door with
overlight and 12-pane sash to left. To right is a canted double shop front with
plate-glass windows, slender colonnettes at the angles the outer sidelights with
pointed arches, the inner sidelights with round arches. Central glazed door with
overlight.
