SJ 97 SW SUTTON C.P. THE HOLLINS

2/60 Hollins Farm

Farmhouse. Mid C17 altered. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings.
Two storeys. Entrance front: projecting plinth common to whole C17
building. C19 lean-to porch at left with chamfered ashlar mullions
(now rendered) and Tudor hood-mould. Smaller similar 5-light window
to gable above with hood mould. To left of porch is similar
arrangement of 5-light mullioned windows below gable. C19 4-bay
extension at left. Right hand return: 5-light ground floor window and
3-light C20 window to first floor. Rear: ground floor left hand
window now partially blocked, originally with 5 lights and having
Tudor hood mould. Similar smaller window to first floor in gable. To
right is C19 and C20 fenestration. Gable at right has a datestone
above first floor window crudely inscribed AUG
1830
