Cottage, late C17, with alterations and additions. Brick nogged
timber frame with machine tile roof. Single storey and attic, "L"
shaped plan. 3 bays. The south wing has been rebuilt. Stone plinth.
Small framing with tension braces. Replaced ledged and battened door
with false strap hinges in added brick porch. Cast iron lattice
casements, those to the upper floor all in gables. The rear (west)
gable truss has curved principal rafters. Two of the three gables have
finials. Single-flue diagonal stack.
Interior: Bevelled beam ground floor and exposed purlins upper floor.
