- II
Farmhouse, early C19. Brown brick in Flemish Bond with roof of old
slates laid in diminished courses. 2 storeys, attic and basement, 3
bays. 6-panel door, with the small panels to centre, in pilastered
doorcase with segmental radial bar fanlight. Recessed sashes with
stone sills, wedge lintels and glazing bars. Moulded timber gutter
cornice. Gable end stacks.
Interior: The back door is boarded on strap hinges and there is a
further boarded door on HL hinges. Six-panel doors. One reused oak
beam and a softwood beam with double quirked beads worked on the
arrises. Staircase with cut and bracketed string and panelled
spandrel. At first floor level six-panel doors with the small panels
to centre. The attic has a wide boarded door on HL hinges. Softwood
roof timbers.
