Detached house. C17 or early C18. Limewashed rubble and rendered cob, thatch.
Cross-passage plan, heated room each side, stack back left; set into ground
slope at back. 2 storeys, 3 above 2 window, all 2-light casements mainly with
horizontal bars; that to right of door at ground floor set to deep reveals.
Doorway off-centre to right, deep-set C20 door. Gable stacks, external to right
with 2-light casement at each level to its left; left return plain, at back
to rounded corner with staircase. Flat roofed extension at back not of special
interest. Interior: modified, but retains spiral stair, 2 bread ovens, original
roof principals.
