Ash House approximately 5 metres south-west of Parford House

Ash house. Late C17 or C18, converted to a summer house in the early C20. Granite
stone rubble with large roughly-shaped quoins with corbelled granite roof covered
with thatch. Circular in plan with conical roof there is an original doorway on the
south-west side and an window on the north side. To left of the doorway a 3-light
window with dressed but plain granite mullions was inserted in the early C20 when
the Ash house was converted to a summerhouse. There is no joinery in the doorway or
windows.
