7/126 Braddock headstone approximately
- 6 metres south of porch of
Church of St Michael

Headstone. Circa 1750 in memory of Mary Braddock. Limestone. Upright slab
standing approximately 700mm high with shaped head. The front has a bolection-
moulded frame rising to a bifurcated scroll at the head. Below this there is a
winged cherub head in bas relief flanked by a skull and crossbones. The front bows
out slightly and is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering after
the first 2 words, 'Here lieth', which are Gothic. It records the death of Mary
Braddock but the date is buried.
