4/218 Barn approximately 50 metres
- north of Southmeads,

GV II

Barn. Circa late C18/early C19. Granite rubble walls with larger quoins,
corrugated iron roof with gable ends. Long rectangular plan. Single storey
symmetrical front with central tall double doorway. Narrower opposing doorway at
rear with roughly chamfered granite lintel. Lean-to outshut at left-hand gable end.
Forms part of an important group of farm buildings and early houses in a small
moorland settlement on the fringe of Dartmoor.
