Restored C16 or earlier framed structure with modern additions. 2 storeys and
hip tiled dormers. Steep hip tiled roof. Modern leaded casements in wooden
frames. Centre ridge stack with later projecting end stacks at side. Elevations
of coursed stone with brick dressing and tile hanging above. Exposed ½ timbering
and plaster infilling restored elevation at side. Modern projecting tiled porch
in front. Inside very stout posts, beams and diagonal braces. Collar-purlin
roof with rudimentary crown posts. Longitudinal beam through solar. Old parlour
(now extended into modern wing) has tongued chamfers to all beams and joists.
