Shown as Unicorn Hotel on OS.
House, now inn. Late C17, with some mid-C20 repairs. Timber-frame with
rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth under a slate roof. Rubble
stack to east gable end. South front of two storeys, attic lit by three
gabled dormers. The first floor has three cross-windows under plank weather-
ings. Entrance to right of centre has a panelled door with ornate strap
hinges. Framing is six square panels high. The gable-end truss has four
struts to the collar and V-struts in the apex. Interior: has a C17 stair-
case with splat balusters. (RCHM, 3, p 201, no 39).
